Imagine if today were your final day at work. You close the lid on your laptop, say goodbye to friends and associates and walk out of your office for the very last time. Would you be proud of the legacy you’re leaving behind?
Benjamin Franklin once said, “If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth writing.” Is the legacy path you are on right now worth reading or writing about?
Thankfully, most of us come to the realization that making money isn’t the ultimate objective. Instead, we recognize that going about our work with purpose, making a tangible difference in people’s lives, and shaping a brighter future for others hold far greater significance than the size of our paychecks.
So, ask yourself: Are you creating a career legacy that will be discussed in the years to come? Will your contributions and impact live on long after you're gone?
